In February I had time to paint the dam before it filled.
Of course, we had no idea that it would soon be full and overflowing!!!

One of my favourite camping areas between Bathurst and Orange is Macquarie Fields.
It's just far enough away for the first overnight stop. This was painted en plein air in the heat of January.
